Rachael and Mike had a lovely, simple winter wedding at The Barn at Stoneybrooke. It was a great way to start to wrap up our 2020 wedding season! Originally planning for a December wedding, we all knew it was gonna be chilly! And while it was cold, the day was just beautiful and we totally embraced the wind. (Rachael’s days of sitting in her front yard in a t-shirt during the winter to acclimate herself to the cold totally paid off and she rocked !!)
Like most weddings of 2020, Rachael and Mike’s wedding didn’t quite look like they were originally planning. Going from a large guest list to a micro-wedding, didn’t take away from the amazingness of it all!
Rachael and Mike decided on a first look. It was sweet and helped them to ease their nerves for the day. But that didn’t take away from the excitement of the ceremony, the happy tears were flowing then too!
Since the original plans for a full reception changed, they decided to simply use an iPod to play songs just for the first dance and parent dance. But anyone that knows these two and their friends and family, they KNOW how to have a good time! So even just having that little iPod, they created their own little rager after dinner!! We had such a blast with this crew and I’m so excited to share!
