We are feeling back in action over here and it feels AMAZING!! Hannah and Dylan were the icing on the cake. Like so many other couples planning their weddings in 2020, there were a lot of unknowns leading up to the big day. This day did not look like what they’d been planning, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say this was still better than anything they could have imagined. And I’m going to be so selfish because my love of small intimate weddings is being filled lately! There was very little distraction from the real reason for the day, Hannah and Dylan’s love for each other.

June 6, 2020 was our most popular date for inquiries and bookings this year and all three of us were originally booked for weddings. I wasn’t originally scheduled for Hannah and Dylan’s lead photographer, but as events changed, I became available. With all of the reschedulings, I’ll now be able to lead photograph the other two weddings originally scheduled for June 6, 2020. Although it was hard for all of my couples to reschedule their big day, I’m going to look at that as a quarantine silver lining!! 🙂

This was the first time I had the pleasure of photographing at Pleasant View Farms and I was in love with the entire property! Their ceremony with the pond as their backdrop was stunning. And these two made sure to include their fur babies in the ceremony and I was obsessed with Molly and Archie!

Once the ceremony was over, there was no formal reception so we got these two to ourselves for some couple portraits on the property. I might have gotten a little shutter happy and kept them for twice as long as we were originally planning…sorry not sorry. I had some making up to do for the last few months and they were just too perfect to stop!

Now I can’t wait to be there when they do it all over again (just on a little bigger scale 😉 ) this September (ON A MONDAY!!!!)
